Guests at YHA Snowdon Ranger can swim in the tranquil lake, and take a footpath from the door of the building to climb the highest mountain in Wales.The majority of rooms contain bunk beds. YHA Snowdon Ranger is 30 minutes’ drive from Bangor, where guests can catch a bus from Bangor Rail Station to the hostel. Caernarfon, home of the magnificent Caernarfon Castle, is a 15-minute drive away.
